Covid-19 Pre-cautions and Booking Requirements

While treating you with the care we always have, we also adhere to strict hygiene measures for everyone’s safety, including:

  • Our practitioner is fully vaccinated against Covid-19;

  • Treatments will be staggered to minimise cross-over of patients and allow for room cleaning between patients;

  • Patients are to wait in their cars before their appointment, rather than in reception. 

  • Practitioners and patients to wear masks in the clinic;

  • Good hand hygiene and cough and sneeze etiquette;

  • Staying away from the clinic if sick. Each patient will need to answer screening questions before every treatment;

  • Physical distancing where possible;

  • High touch surfaces are cleaned and disinfected regularly;

  • Displaying QR code posters and having a visitor register.

Please DO NOT attend the clinic if you can answer ‘Yes’ to any of the following:

  1. Do you have any symptoms of a respiratory infection? – runny nose, sneezing, fever, sore throat, cough, shortness of breath, loss of sense of smell or taste? 

  2. Have you tested positive for COVID-19? (subject to being certified by a medical health professional as fully recovered).

  3. Have you visited any identified locations of interest in the last 14 days?

  4. Have you returned from overseas in the last 14 days?

  5. Have you worked on an international aircraft or shipping vessel or worked in a facility visited by international arrivals in the last 14 days?

  6. Have you, a family member, or a close contact, had direct contact with a confirmed case, or been asked to quarantine or self-isolate over the past 14 days?

ACC consultations:

Please bring your existing and valid ACC45 number with you to receive the subsidised treatment rate. This would have been issued by your GP, Osteopath, Chiropractor or Physiotherapist. Bloom Acupuncture cannot issue you with an ACC45 number. 

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel an appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. If less than 24 hours notice is given there will be a

$50 cancellation fee. If the appointment is missed without notice being given, the full treatment fee will be charged.

Arrive on time please

As a courtesy to all patients, treatment times cannot run over. Therefore, if you arrive late to your appointment a full treatment may not be possible.
